its ... well the audio levels are just not atune, the singing comes 100% out of the left speaker, while its nicer to have it mid. the singing i suppose to be comical, otherwise its just bad. the synth melody is stupid.

but it does have something....its entertaining.

ILIKEVIDEOGAMES responds:

sorry, i really need to fix the voice thing thats strange that i let that get by me

and the synth melody is literally a direct copy of the song "bottoms up" by keke palmer

pink is my favourite color

yeah the fuzzbass is a bit too fuzzy

the song is too long compared to the variation through out the rest of the track.

in the bass-line you hit 2x a note, then 2x same note an octave lower, that was a bit too low for my taste (but unlike others, i wont grade on personal taste issues)

the chill / more intensive parts dont connect as well as they could.

(you dont need to hear about all the good things again :P)

on newgrounds standard i give you 9/10 5/5

boney-man responds:

lol thanks
although i do not wish to be rated based on the NG standard, I want you to be honest :D

every so often @ when a new bar begins... its laggs or something..

if you recorded it live, made some loops and put the loops after eachother.
well the hard thing about that is that the beginning of the loop has to be exactly acurate. you want the loop to begin with sound instantly. or you get this tiny gaps in your song wich really throw people off.

if this isnt recorded, maybe you didnt use "snap to grid" and placed some of the sequence bars just a bit to far to the right, wich would explain the tiny gaps also.

i'd give a 9 for this... but the gaps are worth -1 so that leaves you with an 8 because its all 'n all a good song.

not bad a score for a song with errors like that, trust me. and it shouldnt be hard to fix. so that would be well worth the effort.

ill check back and vote after you fixed

CobraProductions responds:

Yeah, I've noticed that too, but when i tried to eliminate the gaps they got bigger... so i don't know what to do about them, but most of the time I'd have to slow it down (a lot) to hear them.

hihihihihi

WAAI!?!?

why do you use single note multitone preset sounds? your breaking my heart...

just patch an instrument and fill in the same notes, with preset sounds youll never get better then average.

oh and the bass is too soft. (oh the irony)

conclusion:

wait... thats weird... i like it! :):)::)):):):):):):)):):):):)):):):):

hellol

the melody gets repeated to much, when the lead comes in its better...

but when the lead comes in, the volumes of instruments arent tuned to eachother well enough. this makes it sound like there is something missing (dull). you can fix it by adding a multitone filler sound, or really adjusting the volumes to eachother.

also the drum loop doesnt change when you cross over to certain moods in the music.

i almost couldnt make out if you were using a wobble or not... anyway

make it more wobble, and then play with different rates.

here's an example of a wobble used very nicely:

you can learn something from this guy

ye, what the last guy said

appreciated you bring actual played music! on NG standards you deserve to be praised.

BUT PLEAAAESESESE

your killing me with the constant repeating chord progression.... aaahhhhhhh

hello

how did you get the snoop vocals! i want them!

aaah man dizz guud

Maybe you havent heard...

but mars kinda is a planet... so... a road to mars is not possible laoalaoalwowlaol

u make lazy music. not bad though

hello

you cant go and just repeat the same thing over and over...

adding/leaving some layers just isnt enough to keep it interesting

i wanna hear more chord progression, variation in chords, more intstruments if possible and a hell of alot more melodious variation.

the bassguitar sounds good

ShadowSport responds:

This is helping me alot.
Thank you.

howdy

wether this piece is boring or not, depends on how you listen to it.
some people just dont hear the potential. indeed, when applyed correctly this type of music can be just perfect.

i wouldnt change anything except maybe have some more natural sounding choire sounds

8/10 and 5/5 cuz its unappreciated
